Something not working, or an idea for the app? Email support@spinnr.pro and you’ll get a reply from the person who builds it.

If you’re reporting a problem, it helps to include your watchOS version, your Apple Watch model, and what you were doing when it happened.

Getting started

Spinnr runs on your Apple Watch. Open it, choose a match format, pick who serves first, and start scoring — one tap per point. Games, sets and tiebreaks are worked out for you.

Match formats

Set the format before the match starts:

  • Best of three or five sets
  • No-ad scoring — sudden death at 40–40
  • Short sets — first to four games instead of six
  • Super tiebreak — a ten-point tiebreak in place of a deciding set
  • Straight match — skip sets and games entirely and play first to a target number of points

Heart rate and calories

Spinnr runs your match as a workout so it can record heart rate and active energy. It needs permission to do that.

If those figures are missing, check Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Spinnr on your iPhone and make sure Spinnr is allowed to read and write workout data. A match scored without permission still records the score and duration — only the health figures are absent.

Playing on two watches

One player starts a two-watch match and gets a short join code. The other enters that code and both watches score the same match.

Both players need to be signed in to iCloud and have a network connection. Points are reconciled in order, so if one watch drops out briefly the score still agrees once it reconnects.

If a join code isn’t working, confirm both watches are signed in to iCloud, and that the code hasn’t already been used by a session that finished.

An interrupted match

Unfinished matches are saved automatically. Reopen Spinnr and the match will be waiting where you stopped — rain delay, long changeover, or a flat battery.

Matches missing from history

Match history syncs through your private iCloud database. If matches aren’t appearing:

  • Check you’re signed in with the same Apple Account on the device you expect them on
  • Check iCloud Drive is enabled
  • Give it a moment on a good connection — sync isn’t instant

Deleting your data

Delete individual matches from history in the app. To remove everything stored in iCloud, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage and remove Spinnr’s data.

Health data lives in the Health app and is deleted from there.

Privacy

See the privacy policy. Short version: there is no Spinnr server and no analytics — the developer cannot see your matches or your health data.
